March is National Nutrition Awareness Month!

daddy daughter dinner prepYou are what you eat! Even though you have heard this many times, it is true! Your choice of foods affects your energy level, sleep, mood, bowels, and weight. Want to change your eating habits to have a healthier, more enjoyable life

Want to lose weight?

If so, join the Sound Body Health Nutrition and Weight Loss Competition and you could even win a prize for your efforts!

Here are the rules:

  • You must be an adult, 18 years or older.
  • Register with the front desk at Sound Body by email or phone no later than March 5th. You will then receive a 7 day Diet Journal to complete.
  • Email or drop off the completed Diet Journal. Then make an appointment with Lynn Tandler, Nutrition Consultant at Sound Body, to go over the journal and discuss ways to eat healthier and lose weight. At this appointment, she will get your current weight.
  • The patient who loses the most pounds through healthy eating habits (no cheating with weight loss supplements) over a 4 week period will receive a prize!You must come in to get weighed after the 30 days or email us a photo of your scale showing your current weight. All are welcome even if you are not a current Sound Body patient.
  • The winner of the Challenge will be announced the first week of May.The prize is a time saving, healthy cookbook:” Cook Once, Eat All Week: 26 Weeks of Affordable Meal Prep to Preserve Your Time and Sanity”, written by Certified Nutrition Consultant Cassy Joy Garcia.
